Privacy Policy

This statement outlines our privacy policy (our “Policy”).  Maintaining the security of the data you provide and protecting your privacy is important to CJ.  In this Policy, we will address what information we collect from you and how we use that information. By accessing or using the CJ website (“Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept this Policy and its terms.

 

Any personally identifiable information you provide to CJ, typically on a voluntary basis, including but not limited to, your name, birthdate, e-mail address, home address, or phone number (“Personal Information”), will not be knowingly released, sold or traded to any third party without your permission, except (i) to protect your safety and the safety of others, (ii) to protect our own rights, (iii) to comply with laws, regulations, court orders and subpoenas or similar requests, or (iv) if CJ is involved in any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, transition of service to another provider, or insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership.  If you provide Personal Information to CJ or access the Site, you consent to the use, collection and disclosure of the Personal Information by CJ for the purposes described in this Policy.

 

Our Site may contain links to third party sites, and if you access the third-party site, any information you submit on that third party site is not subject to this Policy.  We recommend that you carefully review the privacy statement of each website you visit. This Policy is not intended to describe data handling procedures for information collected by other linked websites or business partners.  If you receive communications from them and you would like to opt-out from such communications, you should contact them directly.

 

In addition to the information you provide, CJ may also automatically collect the non-personal information, including but not limited to your IP address, operating system, browser type, or internet provider (“Web Data”).  We may collect such Web Data through the use of cookies, web beacons and log files. You may refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. Your browser may also be set not to accept cookies.  None of the Web Data that is automatically collected is deemed to be Personal Information, and therefore, we may use or disclose in any manner.  We will primarily use the Web Data to analyze trends, track Site traffic, and/or gather broad demographic information.  Please note that CJ does not track its users across third party websites.  As such, the Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” requests.

Please note that because there is always some risk in transmitting information over the Internet, CJ cannot guarantee the security and privacy of wireless transmissions or transmissions via the Internet.  If you voluntarily disclose Personal Information online, or if anyone else has access to your personal computer, that information may be accessible to others.  You agree that you will not hold CJ liable for any damages resulting from any loss of privacy or security occurring in connection with any communications over such networks.

 

U.S. Users

 

This Policy is intended for information provided by or collected from customers and users in the United States. If you do not reside in the U.S. and are visiting the Site, if you provide Personal Information to us, it may be transferred to and processed on computers in the U.S. and other countries.  Do not provide your Personal Information to us if you do not want this information to be transferred outside of your country. Your provision of Personal Information to us through the Site means that you agree and consent to the terms of this Policy, including to the transfer of and storage of your Personal Information in the U.S.

 

Children

 

This Site is not directed at individuals under thirteen (13) years of age. CJ does not seek to, nor knowingly collect, any Personal Information from individuals under thirteen (13) years of age. If a child has provided us with Personal Information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact us at info@cjresearchcenter.com to have the information deleted from our records.

 

Updates/Changes to Policy

 

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Policy at any time, and such update or changes to this Policy shall become effective immediately upon posting of the updated Policy. Please review the Policy periodically for changes.
